Stepper motors do not have strict requirements for power supply and do not need voltage stabilization. As long as the current requirements can be met, the transformer with similar voltage can be rectified and filtered.
It is better not to use switching power supply for the power supply of stepping motor, because the switching power supply has peak protection, and the stepping drive often has peak phenomenon. In addition, the switching power supply is not as reliable as transformer and rectifier circuit.
Stepper motor drive is a part of the control system. Generally, the stepper motor drive system consists of three parts: control circuit, drive circuit and stepper motor. Its main functions are as follows:
① Control circuit. It is used to generate pulses and control the speed and steering of the motor.
② Drive circuit. That is, the research content of this paper is composed of pulse signal distribution and power driving circuit shown in Figure 1. According to the pulse and direction signal input by the controller, provide the correct power on sequence for each winding of the stepping motor, as well as the high voltage and large current required by the motor; At the same time, various protective measures are provided, such as overcurrent, overheating, etc.
③ Stepper motor. The control signal is amplified by the driver to drive the stepping motor and drive the load.
